Steve Jackson, retired Headteacher of The Blue School, Wells, will share examples of the people and experiences that helped shape his fundamental belief in the value of education.
Following an early departure from an Engineering Apprenticeship in 1979, Steve started teaching in the London Borough of Hillingdon. In 1989, he took up the position of Deputy Headteacher at The Blue School before becoming Headteacher in 1999. He retired in 2017 and now spends most of his time with his wife, Christine, visiting their children or walking their dogs and drinking coffee in wells
